Wednesday, November 18 • Christmas Tour of Homes Tickets go on sale at the following locations:  Shell Knob at the Chamber of Commerce, Farmer’s Daughter Floral & Greenhouse, Neill’s Furniture, Hickory Hollow Resort, Arvest Bank, Cabin Fever and On the Bayou Restaurant.  In Berryville, tickets may be picked up at First National Bank and in Cassville at Commerce Bank or Freedom Bank.

Six Lake Area Homes to be Featured on the 2009 Shell Knob Christmas Tour of Homes

 

    The Shell Knob Christmas Tour of Homes, December 5, 2009, takes you behind the scenes as the doors of seven properties in the Table Rock Lake community are opened to visitors. Discover the varied home and décor styles as you explore these private residences. On this tour, sponsored by the Shell Knob Chamber of Commerce, you are invited inside for a glimpse of what it is like to live inside some of Table Rock Lake’s finest homes.
    Featured on this year’s tour will be the homes of Joe & Pat Richardet, Lynn & Donna Dilbeck, Don & Shelly Walrod, Chuck & Pam West, Don & LaVeda Berry and
Dennis & Sandy Whitehead. The Playce, Shell Knob’s exclusive Senior address, will provide tours and offer refreshments for those on the Homes Tour.

     The event starts at 10:00 a.m.  You can set your own pace and visit the stops in any order you wish through the close of the tour at 5:00 p.m.
     Ticket costs are $10 each.

Boat Shows Set for 2010

     The Board of Directors has announced the approved Boat Show schedule for 2010.  The Shell Knob Chamber of Commerce will send representatives to the following Boat, Sport and Travel Shows promoting the Shell Knob/Table Rock Lake area:

  • St. Louis, MO

  • Wichita, KS

  • Omaha, NE

  • Branson, MO

  • Rogers, AR

  • Tulsa, OK

JILL TRIMBLE BENEFIT

Friday NOVEMBER 20, 2009

CENTRAL CROSSING SENIOR CENTER

4:30 PM  - 7:00 PM

     There will be Bar-B-Que and dessert served, plus entertainment by Steve and Eileen Mitchell.  There is no charge for the food or entertainment.  Donations will be accepted.

     Every donated dollar will be used for the Jill Trimble Benefit Fund.  No monies will be withheld for expenses. This fund has been established with the Arvest Bank.  Funds will be used to defray the medical costs incurred by Jill.

CCUMC Annual Craft Show and Sale.

    Central Community United Methodist Church (CCUMC) will host the annual Christmas Craft Show Saturday, November 21st in the spacious fellowship hall.  Saturday's schedule will be 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with food bar open all day. Door prizes will also add excitement for the shoppers.

    Proceeds from the food bar and craft space rentals support UMC outreach programs.

 

Totally Home offers Holiday Stimulus Package

     PAUL T ENTERPRISES, INC. d/b/a TOTALLY HOME FLOOR COVERING has been serving the area for 30 years while consistently providing quality service and installation.

    They are currently offering a Holiday Stimulus Package, through December 31, 2009.  This package includes free estimates and whole house installation of carpet, with the purchase of carpet and padding.  Their showroom has numerous samples on display of tile, wood, laminate, vinyl, cork, countertop laminate, cultured marble sinks and showers, Quaker Windows, Levolor Blinds and Host Carpet Cleaning.

    They have just become the area dealer for Harman and Lennox wood, pellet and gas stoves and inserts.  In addition to the stoves, they also sell quality hardwood pellets and wood.  All stoves and inserts qualify for tax rebates.
